In this episode, we’re sharing a recorded WorkPlay sales call with you so you can get answers to any lingering questions you may still have about the WorkPlay method. The guest on our sales call is a business owner running a nature-based school in a rural area. They express their challenges with social media marketing and burnout, seeking guidance on creating meaningful and visually appealing content to attract and engage their audience. Throughout the call, we discuss how the WorkPlay method can be tailored to her unique business goals and how it will enhance her branding and marketing strategies.

Defining Brand Identity

In the onboarding process, you will receive a brand board that includes a font duo and a five-color color palette. The brand board serves as a starting point for creating a custom edit for your visuals. As mentioned in the episode, “There’s definitely fonts that I use like on everything the same font and then I obviously I have a logo but everything right now my logo is black and white so it’s very broad.” This step allows for customization based on your existing brand elements. The goal is to establish a cohesive visual identity that aligns with your brand’s aesthetic. By refining or incorporating your existing brand elements into the brand board, you set the tone for the visuals to come.

Creating Brand Shoot Agenda

The next phase involves creating a brand shoot agenda, which outlines the projects you have coming up and the visuals you want to create for them. This agenda helps organize the day of the photo shoot and ensures that the content aligns with your business goals. As mentioned in the episode, “If you want to have a big break in the middle, we can. If you just want to do a half day, we can.” This flexibility allows for a tailored approach to the shoot based on your preferences and needs. By collaborating with the team to scout locations and plan the shoot, you can ensure that the visuals captured align with your brand’s vision.

Creating Content on the Shoot Day

During the create phase, you will have the opportunity to work with the team on the day of the photo shoot to capture the content for your visuals. The episode highlights the importance of having a full day dedicated to creating content, with options to choose between photo or video content. As mentioned, “Within that timeframe, you can do whatever you want.” This freedom allows for a creative and productive shoot day where you can bring your vision to life. By leveraging the expertise of the team and utilizing the resources available, you can capture high-quality visuals that resonate with your audience.

Reviewing and Selecting Content

After the shoot, you will receive a gallery of images and videos captured during the session. This step involves reviewing the content and selecting the ones that best represent your brand and align with your vision. As mentioned in the episode, “You favorite the ones that you want to use, essentially.” This process allows you to curate the content that will be used for your marketing efforts. By choosing the images and videos that resonate with you and reflect your brand identity, you can ensure that the final deliverables meet your expectations. This step empowers you to have a hands-on approach in selecting the content that will be shared on your platforms.

Fee Planning and Scheduling

The final step involves fee planning and scheduling, where you will receive a content calendar with a posting schedule for your visuals. This service helps streamline the process of posting content on social media platforms. As discussed in the episode, “You would have to get us that content by the 23rd of each month of that previous month.” This timeline ensures that the content is prepared and scheduled in advance for timely posting. By utilizing fee planning and scheduling, you can maintain a consistent and engaging presence on social media. This step allows for efficient content management and strategic posting to maximize audience engagement.
